Kitchens are the design-heavy end of the business. Layout revisions, appliance specs, cabinet finishes, tile selections all take longer than any other room. We build that into the schedule and into the pricing. You'll never be rushed through a decision you'll live with for twenty years.

Conversation
We stand in your kitchen and talk. Where the traffic jams up. What lives on the counter. What the coffee ritual actually looks like. The design starts with what your family does, not what a catalog thinks a kitchen should be.
02
Design
3D renderings from every angle. Physical samples of the cabinet finish, countertop slab, tile, and hardware, held together in your existing light before you commit. Appliance specs coordinated with your vendor. Nothing goes on order until you've seen and approved the actual materials.
03
Estimate
One fixed number after the walkthrough: cabinets, counters, backsplash, plumbing, electrical, appliance install, disposal, permits, all covered. Change orders only when you ask for one, priced before the work starts.
04
Build
Six to twelve weeks. Weekly Friday walkthroughs. A dust wall between the kitchen and the rest of the house. Cabinetry set by our finish carpenters, not a subbed crew. A temporary coffee station in the basement or dining room so life continues.
05
Handover
Punch-list closed with you standing in the room, not by email. Warranty issued. A binder with every product spec (appliance model numbers, paint codes, tile SKU, countertop care instructions) for the next twenty years of the room.

For a full kitchen (cabinetry replacement, new countertops, appliances, lighting, flooring) plan on 6 to 12 weeks from demo to punch-list. A cosmetic refresh (paint, hardware, counters only) can be 2 to 4 weeks. Every proposal includes the actual schedule; nothing is padded to look reassuring.
Yes. The vast majority of our kitchen clients stay put. We set up dust protection between the work zone and the rest of the house, help you plan a temporary kitchen (usually the dining room or basement with a plug-in fridge and microwave), and coordinate loud work around your schedule where possible.
For a full renovation with mid-to-high-end finishes in a typical Northern Virginia home, most of our clients land between $75K and $150K. High-end appliance packages and structural work (removing walls, adding an island) push higher. We'll give you a real number after the first walk-through, not a marketing range.
We spec appliances with you as part of the design phase: Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador, Miele, or mid-tier brands depending on your budget and cooking habits. We coordinate directly with your appliance vendor from day one so the cabinetry cutouts match. If you already have appliances picked, we work around those specs.
Semi-custom works when your kitchen fits the standard cabinet grid and you want a shorter timeline. Custom is right when you need non-standard heights, unusual widths, or specific interior fittings. Fully bespoke, built locally by our finish shop, is for the kitchen where every inch is engineered around you. We'll walk you through the trade-offs during design and price all three if you're on the fence.
Yes. That's part of the proposal, not an add-on. We pull every permit, schedule every inspection, and handle every code-related conversation with Fairfax, Prince William, Loudoun, or your specific jurisdiction. You never call the county. Structural, electrical, plumbing: all inspected and signed off before we hand it back.
Yes. We work with our finish carpenters and flooring vendors to match species, stain, and profile so the new kitchen reads as native to the house, not a Pinterest board dropped into the middle of it.
Every kitchen is backed by our five-year workmanship warranty on labor, plus the manufacturer warranty on cabinetry, countertops, and appliances (we help you register them). If a drawer runner goes, a hinge loosens, or grout cracks, you call one number and we come back out. Alex has homeowners from 2016 who still text him when a bulb needs replacing.
